Overview
Zensar partnered with Focal One (EDAP TMS), a Nasdaq-listed leader in therapeutic ultrasound, to implement SAP S/4HANA at its new Austin, TX facility. The project transitioned the US business from QuickBooks, integrating the facility into the existing S/4HANA system It focused on streamlined processes, a robust SAP security framework, third-party integrations, and regulatory compliance to drive operational excellence and support growth.

Solution
1.
Scope SAP rollouts for integrating the new US business, associated plant, and warehouses; this includes validating the existing design, testing scripts, master data guidance, conducting tests, providing system walkthroughs, and training key users

Approach Subcontracting process - SAP S/4HANA provided integration for subcontracting processes, enhancing control and accuracy

Approach Intercompany processes - Implemented SAP S/4HANA intercompany sales and STO processes with streamlined intercompany functionality, enabling seamless coordination of financial and inventory transactions between the subsidiaries while ensuring compliance with international regulations and currency conversions

Approach Redesigning security roles and authorization setup - S/4 HANA provides excellent security roles and authorization capabilities, Fiori setup, and approval workflows; we leveraged these capabilities, implemented a new security framework and design to optimize the existing lean SAP security setup
