The traditional approach of outsourcing is shifting from a cost proposition to a value proposition .The biggest change for the IT organisations is the movement from a pure play company to a solutions and services company helping customers in a quicker and faster Go To Market.” Enhancing Zensar's Retail foot print in the European market is a new deal with Laura Ashley, one of the world’s best-loved fashion and home furnishings companies headquartered in UK, has engaged with Zensar to build and develop composite applications and Business Process Management Systems using Oracle Fusion Middleware (SOA and WebCenter). On awarding the contract, the customer said, “This would enable Laura Ashley to weave in our internal and external environments and provide a more dynamic customer service experience - a more productive environment for employees while leveraging IT assets that are already in place.” Zensar has been selected as a strategic development partner to one of the leading pharmacy retailer headquartered in UK having more than 1500 outlets. While as a strategic partner the relationship is expected to last for multiple years, the initial relationship kick starts with intention to improve the stock handling and stock visibility in their existing systems. The company has also successfully expanded its presence in the USA with customers such as a leading direct seller of more than 300 gourmet kitchen gadgets, cookware, cookbooks, and foodstuffs for a global ERP Implementation project. Zensar has also been selected by a Global Online Retailer of travel related products for the deployment of the Oracle eBusiness Suite (R12).
