Zensar reports robust growth in Q2, FY12

Zensar Technologies, the leading global IT and BPO services provider has reported excellent revenue and profit growth for the quarter ended 30th September 2011.  

Dr. Ganesh Natarajan, Vice Chairman and MD, Zensar said, “ This has been a landmark quarter for us with the completion of the integration of AKIBIA and robust order booking performance by all the verticals. We are confident that many of the new solutions we have launched in the market will keep our revenues robust in the remaining quarters of the year.”

Zensar Technologies has recently been restructured to provide specialized vertical solutions to global corporations across the world. The solutions and domain expertise are helping Zensar grow revenues from the current customer base and add new customers to the vertical portfolios. The company’s expansion into new edge technologies, cloud computing, analytics and mobile and social media solutions  are avenues for significant opportunity for revenue growth.

Yogesh Patgaonkar, Executive VP-HR of  Zensar said “ In helping our business teams through a high growth phase, Zensar HR teams have kept attrition levels at an all time low this quarter and kept the hiring momentum . • The company’s  total head count  was at  6764 as on 30thSeptember, 2011 including 318 Akibia associates
• The company has added 23 new customers in this quarter  
• Zensar won the ‘Good Corporate Citizen Award’ for the year 2011 in the 'medium corporate' category for its outstanding service in operational performance and its contribution towards corporate citizenship   
• Zensar also won the CNBC’s ‘Outstanding Exporter Award’ for the fourth consecutive year
