Zensar awarded Asia Responsible Entrepreneurship Award 2010 in recognition of employee friendly initiatives for the year 2010

Zensar Technologies was awarded the Asia Responsible Entrepreneurship Awards (AREA) “Investment in People Award 2010’ in New Delhi on the 20th of November, 2010 by Enterprise Asia, a non-governmental organization in pursuit of entrepreneurship development across the region. Founded by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs, the organization is supported by a panel of prominent industry and government leaders who truly believe in the mission of championing entrepreneurship in Asia. AREA recognizes and honors Asian Businesses for championing sustainable and responsible entrepreneurship.
Zensar was the only Indian recipient of this prestigious award. Coming on the heels of the Harvard Business School case study on Zensar’s unique Vision Communities program, the company has received one more endorsement of its world class talent management practices.
During the same event, Dr. Ganesh Natarajan – Vice Chairman & CEO of Zensar Technologies was conferred with the ‘Outstanding Entrepreneurship Award 2010’, which is awarded to exceptional individuals who have demonstrated entrepreneurial attributes that make them role models for emerging entrepreneurs, including the tenacity and perseverance to continue innovating and making a difference under adverse situations and environments.
In his congratulatory note, William Ng –President, Enterprise Asia said,” Dr. Natarajan’s outstanding performance truly makes him a deserving winner and we thank him for his support to further the development of entrepreneurship in India and in the Asia region. Zensar has rightly been recognised for their investment in people with policies and programs in place that show their respect for their people. The jury evaluated Zensar on how much the business has invested through their efforts in taking care of its employees by way of dependent care, layoffs and closing, health and wellness, employee training, fair recruitment and promotional practice and fostering lifelong learning in improving the quality of life at work and in implementing employee ownership on a sustainable basis”.
