Zensar expands Global presence with launch of Shanghai Development Centre in China
Centre will provide software development and transformation services to clients globally

Zensar Zensar Technologies, a leading global technology and business process company has launched their sixth Global Delivery Centre (GDC) in Shanghai, China. This Centre will be an integral part of the Global Delivery Model which already includes delivery centers in India and Europe - supporting processes and products of global customers with a full range of Transformation Services. The prospect of outsourcing to China is exciting, both for service providers and global organization looking to sustain or amplify quality while lowering costs. The ready pool of trained technical talent pool also continues to provide opportunities to remain competitive.
This strategic move reinforces Zensar’s commitment to not only expand its operations in China, but also generate opportunities for their customers in these markets. With state-of-the-art infrastructure, the new facility is designed to serve the needs of its global clients and plans to have the first team of 30 associates working on projects from November. This Centre has been getting full support from Shanghai Municipal Government based - Shanghai Information Service Outsourcing Development Center and Shanghai BaoShan District Government. The entry of Zensar is expected to make a positive contribution in developing technology enabled businesses and skill building in the district.

The Shanghai GDC will be the sixth Development Centre, after two centers in Pune, Hyderabad, Gdansk (Poland) and London (UK). This centre will provide Infrastructure Management, Application Support and Product Engineering Services in chosen verticals like Manufacturing, Healthcare and Government. The Shanghai center will also focus on providing local service to customers in the region and is expected to create more business opportunities for Zensar locally. Over the next three years, plans are to expand the Shanghai GDC into one of the major Centre in Zensar’s Global Delivery Model.
