In The SpotlightZensar inaugurates its third delivery centre in India at PuneCentre to be an innovation hub for the Company 20-04-2009, PuneZensar Technologies, the leading global technology and business process Company today announced the inauguration of its third Global Delivery Centre in India and sixth in the world. With an area of 34422 square feet, the facility at Pune built has been built with an investment of Rs. 40 million and will accommodate over 400 professionals and will be the Company’s first foray into a Special Economic Zone (SEZ). Zensar has been headquartered in Pune and has over 3000 professionals working out of its Pune facility. The Company also has its Development Centres in Hyderabad in India, Slough in UK, San Jose in USA and Gdansk in Poland which are fully functional and have over 1000 professionals working out of these centres. All these centres work in truly collaborative frameworks using blueprints for developing and supporting global projects. At the occasion, Mr. John Levack of Electra Partners, who is also a board member of Zensar Technologies said, “Our Pune Development Center has shown rapid growth since its inception. And this new state-of-the-art facility at EON in Kharadi will help us further leverage the potential of this city.” Dr. Ganesh Natarajan, Vice Chairman and MD, Zensar Technologies, “This newly established centre will be the innovation hub for the Company and will host all of Zensar’s new and innovative offerings which will drive the growth of the Company’s business in the coming year. Our commitment to the city of Pune is strong and this city will continue to be the focal point of our global expansion” In line with its focus on innovation, the Company also launched Solution BluePrint (SBP) on the web for the community at large. Solution Blueprint (SBP) is Zensar’s initiative to incorporate engineering practices in software development. Zensar’s approach goes a step ahead towards enabling the building of components and focusing on building reusable platform-agnostic models. Speaking on the launch of SBP for the web, Sanjay Marathe, Chief Technology Officer, Zensar Technologies said, “We at Zensar, continuously strive to improve the software engineering process. This Solution-blueprint.com is a community portal that will allow Eclipse and Open Source -enthusiasts, designers and developers across the world to explore BPF for free and take advantage of the unique features. The community portal will offer users of SBP/BPF to collaborate using the now, almost ubiquitous features of wikis, blogs and forums.” The BluePrint Foundry (BPF) is at the heart of Solution BluePrint. Built on the MDA-paradigm, as an Eclipse-based modeling tool, the solution is light-weight and intuitive, BPF adopts industry standards such as UML and BPMN to ease the job of system designers/engineers. Along with modeling-related features BPF incorporates truly innovative features which enable real-time collaboration across geographically separated design teams in today’s global delivery environment. BPF has enabled Zensar’s innovative Global Delivery Platform which connects the three Indian centres to a global delivery community across Singapore, Japan, South Africa, Europe and USA.
