Zensar Tech to launch sixth global delivery center in China

Zensar Technologies announced the launch of its sixth global delivery center in Shanghai, China. This centre will be an integral part of the global delivery model which already includes delivery centres in India and Europe. The stock had underperformed the market over the past one month till Oct. 13, 2010, falling 3.97% compared with the Sensex`s 7.70% rise. It underperformed the market in past one quarter, declining 0.18% as against 15.02% rise in the Sensex.
Total volume of shares traded on the bourses today was lower by 76.22% to 10,031 compared with 22-day average volume of 42,176. Recently the company disclosed rise of 9.43% in consolidated net profit on y-o-y basis to Rs 324.80 million, while total income climbed 6.73% y-o-y basis to Rs 2.50 billion for the quarter ended June 2010.
On July 13, 2010, the board of directors approved final dividend of 55% or Rs 5.5 a share. The company has an equity capital of Rs 215.90 million. Face value of share is at Rs 10. The company has market capitalization of Rs 7.21 billion as on Oct. 13, 2010.
Shares of Zensar Technologies declined Rs 2.7, or 1.62%, to trade at Rs 164.20. The total volume of shares traded was 1,785 at the BSE (9.54 a.m., Thursday).
