Buoyed by the growth in the insurance sector, Zensar Technologies, the leading global IT and BPO services provider, is recruiting over 300 IT professionals over the next three months to staff projects for their global insurance customers, its top official said “The overseas insurance sector is growing and we are hiring over 300 IT professionals to staff our new overseas projects,” said Ganesh Natarajan, vice-chairman and CEO of Zensar Technologies.
The firm provides an entire range of IT services and solutions to the insurance industry, electronic manufacturing, retail, utility and banking. At present the dedicated team for insurance sector stands at 750 and the additional team will take the strength to 1,050 during the present financial year.
He said the new team would provide IT services worth Rs 100 crore over a five-year period for a South African insurance major. The vertical contributes over 10 per cent of the company’s revenues.
