In The Spotlight Zensar Launches Web-Based Broadcasting Platform 26-02-2009, The Economic Times IT major, Zensar Technologies, announced its tie-up with media group TwoFour, to launch 'Media Freedom', a web-based broadcasting platform, in India.
Media Freedom, used by media and entertainment companies, business and organisations world-wide, offers a single solution for acquiring, managing and delivering video content online.
"The alliance sets growth strategies and products based on new media, across a wide range of platforms such as television, the Internet, radio and film, enabling content distribution across multiple formats, on-demand videos, digital advertising, and user-generated content," Zensar's Executive President (Global Technical Services), V Balasubramanian, told reporters here.
The content would be delivered in a virtual software as services (SaS) model and on any connected device including personal computers and mobile via a set-top box.
"We are seeing a lot of interest for these new age services across segments of education, media and entertainment, Government establishments and in large corporates in the country," Balasubramanian said.
