The Customer

The client is a US based Multinational Telecommunications company providing long distance, local and wireless services. Zensar’s relationship with it started in 1996. Direct Deposit Project is one of such success stories where Zensar provided quality software services in a very cost effective manner. Direct Deposit is a web based system that allows employees to directly access and update account details online over the intranet.

The Business Challenge

The older system was a mainframe CSP based screen accessed by payroll personnel only. Employees who need to make changes to existing account details or those who want to enroll fill out a form the contents of which is then e-mailed to the payroll department for update to the direct deposit database.

The Solution

The new Direct Deposit web based system allows employees to directly access and update their account details online over the intranet. This system also helps those employees who are currently not under direct deposit to enroll for direct deposit.
